Blogsville, that is a chat between ma boo and i. Tee is the man i'm in love with and who is in love with me too. Lu is obviously moi. Uncle B is Tee's friend who just had a fire incident and his wife was scarred in it.
question is what did he mean by "You are not feeling my heartbeat". i know i told Omotee that i would give him space and occupy myself with other things but i cannot concentrate on other things(i have an exam in few weeks o), i have in fact sent him an email again asking what he meant and what is going on?
Did i do or say something wrong? Is he going through something that he expects i should know?(I am not God that sees the heart nah!) What do i do now?
Feel free to say it as it is please...

Just Talk
Finally made it back here, whew! Remember my last post 'life and it complications'? Happens that my sister got married to Mr not really married and yours truly was chief bridesmaid! It was a good wedding and i think they are making a good marriage out of the whole thing. I wish them the very best.
Now what i do not like is everyone telling me so you are next,(well i don't mind the ones that pray for me that mine will be great too) when is it happening? i mean, really will they be the one to spend the money at the wedding? They wont even let us rest from the spending of this one plus who said i have someone to marry sef and even if i do, will i be the one to determine it. We all know how it works out here mehn, man does the proposal, girl accepts then we set it all in motion, meeting the parents, picking a date and generally preparing but if he does not propose, wetin i go do nah?!These people should just let me be jare with marriage talk just cos my sister is married. I doubt if they are all going to be at my wedding anyway cos if its with who i am planning (oh yes, i am planning and that's another day's post,*wink)then we are having a parlour something and that means all that crowd won't be there(less money to be spent) In any case, they have jollied at my sister's own so no show dis time,Lol! Well enough of the rantings.
Meanwhile, how come married men have become so shameless these days even the young married ones like late thirties to early forties are now into extra marital affairs! I mean, is that how fast it is to get bored in marriage or is it the women that are not appealing enough or is it the man that is just hard to satisfy or... i just can't help but wonder. Imagine a nice looking young man with two cute kids whose ages together does not amount to 12 years out toasting babe, why? The annoying part is he proudly showed me his kids pictures and his wife's,yet... and then my father's friend??? Old enough to be my father? At some point in my old life, i would have played along, chopped his money and dumped him in a particularly rude way but now it just pisses me off and i can barely stand to listen to the ramblings of a shameless man.
Well... i really cannot understand

Life and its complications
Suddenly you discover you are at a marriageable age, friends are getting married around you and it seems like you are going no where near that as you are breaking up a relationship everyone thouht was def going down the aisle. One thing i have learnt, try (its hard tho) not to introduce the guy to the world until you are very sure but then does that make a difference? We have heard of relationships that broke even at the altar so i think its just God and it happening when it is to happen.
Take my sis for instance, she's almost thirty, she's pretty, so so so so nice (nicer than me i admit), not given to problems and issues, gentle, educated (has MBA Finance) and all the walks, u know. Not cos she's my sis but she's just your typical take home to Mama. Unfortunately,no guy has deemed it fit to do that instead they all have broken her heart after coming as far as introducing her to folks, meeting her and all then they just leave either cos of an old girlfriend or some equally lame excuse like not agreeing on having a big or small wedding (can you beat that?).
Anyways, while all these was going on, there Mr. Not Really Married(NRM) but lives with a woman who is a bad woman and whom he does not love and they have two kids together hanging around encouraging her and holding her hand each time there is a break up say for like 5 yrs now and say he loves her. Now this is where the problem is, my sister now thinks she should marry this Mr, NRM! For God sakes he is still with this woman and they have two kids, he says he will leave her and come live with my sis and that he has told d woman who initially didn't agree and then says she will agree on one condition, Mr. NRM is to continue to take care of her and the kids (please!)
I have spoken with my sis, she says she does not know how to tell him and that no one has been this crazy about her bla bla bla, please help me save her, what do i do to let her know that she'll always be second fiddle, that she won't get the satisfaction of marriage here, that she is going to be in a polygamous situation which we are born into and have sworn not to enter, Help me blogsville!

Its a really long read but please patiently read through,(at least for the sake of the effort i put into typing it)you'll be glad you did.
When you came into the world, she held you in her arms.
You thanked har by wailing like a banshee.
When you wer 1 year old, she fed you and bathed you.
you thanked her by crying all night long.
When you were 2 years old,she taught you to walk.
You thanked her by running away when she called.
When you were 3 years old,she made all your meals with love.
You thanked her by tossing your plate on the floor.
When you were 4 years old,she gave you some crayons.
You thanked hr by coloring the dining room table.
When you were 5 years old,she dressed you for the holidays.
You thanked her by plopping into the nearest pile of mud.
when you were 6 years old,she walked you to school.
You thanked her by screaming "I'M NOT GOING!"
When you were 7 years old,she bought you a baseball.
You thanked her by throwing it
through a next door neighbour's window.
When you were 8 years old, she handed you an ice-cream.
You thanked her by dripping it all over your lap.
When you were 9 years old, she paid for piano lessons.

soccer to gymnastics to one birthday party after another.
You thanked her by jumping out of the car and never looking back.
When you were 11 years old, she took you and your friends to the movies.
You thanked her by asking to sit on a different row.
When you were 12 years old, she warned you not to watch certain TV shows.
You thanked her by waiting till she left the house.
THOSE TEENAGE YEARS
When you were 13, she suggested a haircut that was becoming.
You thanked her by telling her sha had no taste.
When you were 14, she paid for a month away at summer camp.
You thanked her by forgetting to write a single letter.
When you were 15 she came home from work looking for a hug.
You thanked her by having your bedroom door locked.
When you were 16, she taught you how to drive her car.
You thanked her by taking it every chance you could.
When you were 17, she was expecting an important call.
you thanked her by staying on the phone all night.
When you were 18,she cried at your high school graduation.
You thanked her by staying out partying till dawn.
GROWING OLD AND GRAY
When you were 19, she paid for your college tuition,
drove you to campus and carried your bags.
You thanked her by saying goodbye outside the dorm so you wouldn't
be embarassed in front of your friends.
When you were 20,she asked whether you were seeing anyone.
You Thanked her by saying, "its none of your business."
When you were 21, she suggested certain careers for your future.

When you wer 25, she helped pay for your wedding, and she cried and told
you how deeply she loved you.
You thanked her by moving halfway across the country.
When you were 30, she called with some advice for the baby.
You thanked her by telling her, "Things are diffferent now."
When you were 50, she fell ill and needed you to take care of her.
You thanked her by reading about the burden parents become to their children.
And then, one day, she quietly died. And everything you never did came
crashing down like thunder.
"Rock me baby, rock me all night long."
"The hand who rocks the cradle...may rock the world."
Let us take a moment of the time just to pay tribute/show appreciation
to the person called MOM. Though some may not say it openly to their mother,
there i nosubstitute for her. Cherished every single moment.
Though she may not be the best of friends, may not agree to our thoughts,
She is still your mother!!!
She will be there for you... to listen to your woes, your braggings, your frustrations, etc.
Ask yourself...have you put aside enough time for her, to listen to her "blues" of working in the kitchen, her tiredness???
Be tactful, loving and still show her due respect though you may have a different view from hers.
Once gone, only fond memories of the past and also regrets will be left.
DON'T TAKE FOR GRANTED THE THINGS CLOSEST TO YOUR HEART, CLING TO THEM AS YOU WOULD YOUR LIFE, FOR WITHOUT THEM, LIFE IS MEANINGLESS.
HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY!

Bolder moves these days?
Hi ma Pips of blogsville, i am so grateful to you guys for your comments on my post of "Love and Let go?". You all encouraged me especially when i read the comments by Scribz and Roc seeing from the guys' point of view so it didn't feel like the girls were just being chauvinistic.
well,he finally agreed to call her which he has not done but then i let sleeping dogs lie until yesterday when he agreed that this weekend, sunday precisely which i s mother's day is actually a good time to call her and mend fences, boy! was i relieved? Meanwhile let me back up a few steps to let you guys know how we got there.
I travelled out of town on wednesday for a matter and came back yesterday so after work i went to see a colleague who just had a baby and then went home, ate, bathed, donned on a nightie only with some plan in my head and waited for my baby to come.
He did and we hugged, pecked and were talking. He started running his hands all over me and was like "are you wearing anything under this nightgown?" and i'm like "do you want to comfirm?" he gives me that look and i say let's sit in the car and we did.
We continued to kiss and grope and before we knew it,it all got heated up and then he starts to look around asking sure you wanna do this,we are in front of your house and i said hey,its dark(of course there was no light even though with all sense of modesty i'm supposed to be living in one of the top shots areas in abuja) Anyways,no light so the street lights were off so it was kinda dark. Hell,i want to,its been a while so we did it(sure you guys don't want details) we get enough of that from sexkitten and co... Well it was beautiful, long enough and real hot!(you can imagine) then we lay there spent, sated and that's when people started passin g by.
It was crazy and fun and i loved every bit of it so we adjusted all that needed to be adjusted and i confessed that this was on my mind all along and he says "wow!you got me there but it was madly sweet" and that's when i chipped in the mom stuff and it worked like magic! He said i could have just said it and he would still have agreed but i made him know that it wasn't cos of that,i just wanted to DO it! Anyways i think it was an added advantage. For me,that was bold and one of the most adventuous steps i've taken. Kinda proud of me. Lol.
What do you say girls? The way to a man's heart is not only through his stomach, abi?
